1. Tesco

Tesco only accepts SEDEX audit reports from three approved audit firms:

• ELEVATE

• SCSA

• UL

  Reports from other audit firms are not accepted. Suppliers must ensure their audits comply with the SEDEX systemand these specific organizations.

2. Disney

Disney accepts SEDEX reports, but only from the following eight accredited audit firms:

• ARCHEADVISORS

• BV (Bureau Veritas)

• ELEVATE

• INTERTEK

• QIMA

• SCSA

• UL

• INSITE COMPLIANCE LLC

  These audit firms must follow the rigorous SEDEX and SMETA guidelines to ensure compliance with Disney’s ethical standards.

3. Walmart

Walmart accepts both SEDEX 2-Pillar and SEDEX 4-Pillar reports, allowing businesses to choose the appropriate standard. Walmart recognizes reports from the following audit firms:

• Accordia Global Compliance Group

• BV (Bureau Veritas)

• ELEVATE

• INTERTEK

• SGS

• TUV

• UL

  Walmart’s acceptance of reports depends on the supplier’s adherence to SEDEX member standards and ethical sourcing practices.

4. Amazon

Amazon accepts SEDEX (SMETA) audit reports but only from the following nine approved audit firms:

• Intertek

• SGS

• TUV Rheinland

• UL

• Archer Advisors

• Asia Inspection

• BSI

• Bureau Veritas

• ELEVATE

  These firms must be recognized by SEDEX members and must meet Amazon’s ethical sourcing and compliance requirements.

5. Costco

Costco accepts SEDEX audit reports under the following conditions:

1. The audit firm must be a member of SEDEX and APSCA (Association of Professional Social Compliance Auditors).
2. The audit must be recent and conducted within the expected production timeline for Costco orders.
3. A Corrective Action Plan(CAP) is required, detailing corrective actions with target dates and photographic evidence.
4. The audit must be unannouncedor semi-announced (at least two weeks’ notice). Fully announced audits are not accepted.
5. A valid Costco Code of Conductaudit report from the past two years must be available.
6. The supplier must sign the Verification Letter.

6. Coca-Cola

Coca-Cola accepts SEDEX 4-Pillar reports, which are valid for three years once certified. However, the audit must meet specific conditions:

• The audit must show zero major non-compliance
• All employees must have social security coverageto be accepted.

7. Target

Target accepts SEDEX 4-Pillar reports, and recognizes the following audit firms:

• BV (Bureau Veritas)

• ELEVATE

• INTERTEK

• SGS

• UL

  These reports must adhere to the standards set by SEDEX members to be accepted by Target.

8. Nestlé

Nestlé accepts SEDEX 4-Pillar reports, and recognizes reports from three accredited audit firms:

• BV (Bureau Veritas)

• SGS

• ITS

  These reports must comply with Nestlé’s ethical standards and be aligned with the SEDEX system.
